Golf Course

Introduction

Renfrew Golf Club is recognised as one of the finest inland golf courses in Scotland and has the enviable honour of hosting several SGU and R&A events.

It is a very flat scenic, tree lined parkland course affording views of the River Clyde with Erskine Bridge in the background.

The following diagram provides the layout of the course. One of the major benefits of the design of the course is that the 9th green and 10th tee are located at the Clubhouse, with the 12th green in close proximity. So this provides members with the option of playing the front nine, back nine or the first 12 holes.

Ideal if you are new to the sport; don't always have time to play a full round or have physical limitations. The shortened course appeals to all our membership because it reduces the demands on their time and abilities.

There is a putting and chipping practise area in front of the clubhouse along with two practise nets and a practise area adjacent to the 1st tee.The golf shop hires out two electric golf buggies (discounted for members) and pull trolleys.
